I have a 2009 Mercury Mariner. I haven't had any problems lately with the battery. We had a snowstorm come through two days ago and some cold air. I didn't have any problems getting it started yesterday even though it was cold. But this morning it wouldn't even try to start. No "whirring" sound of it even trying, just dead. Is it just the cold weather, or did my battery suddenly die and needs to be replaced?
DO YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHARGE IT?REMOVE THE BATTERY CABLES TO DO SO
IF NOT---IN MY REGION, ADVANCE AUTO PARTS WILL CHARGE BATTERIES AND TEST THEM (USUALLY A FREE SERVICE)
YOUR BATTERY NEEDS TO BE CHARGED, PRIOR TO A TEST.....FOR ACCURATE RESULTS
YOUR BATTERY COULD HAVE BEEN RUN DOWN FROM A DOOR NOT CLOSED ALL OF THE WAY/ A PARASITIC DRAW/ ETC----SO LET'S NOT RULE THAT OUT...........A BRAND NEW BATTERY COULD BE DRAWN DOWN THE SAME WAY!
TESTING IS THE 1ST STEP
IF YOU JUST "GOTTA" HAVE A BATTERY......RIGHT NOW.....OR WHEN THEY CONFIRM IT IS BAD.....I'M GONNA AID YOU IN SAVING $40
