My car recently had a recall for a bad fuel pump, and I now know that many of the issues I was having was due to this. Most recently my car has had fluctuating RPM's while I'm maintaining a steady speed (usually between 35-45mph), Yesterday, while at a stop, the car had a hard time accelerating and moving into gear. I thought replacing the fuel pump would have fixed this problem. I have been trying to get this problem fixed for the last 2 yrs. Off and on. Could this bad fuel pump have caused other issues with my car?

Scan for codes and yours may be under recall for the ignition switch that may cause the same problem. but try cleaning the throttle plate on both sides an iac hole with choke cleaner see if that helps.

Read the guide below, it will help
