2009 Cobalt

Lights were left on and ran battery down. Boosted 24 hrs later and got it started. Everything is working fine except the transmission wont shift out of low gear and the engine light is on now. Ive checked a couple of fuses that the diagram said was trans or tcm related and they appeared ok.

First off your gonna have to get the car scanned for trouble codes, that will be your starting point for diagnoses, this car has a throttle acuated control module, instead of a cable operated throttle plate, May be something as simple as relearning throttle, but you would need a scan tool to do so and to retrieve codes.
