The car has to b boosted every second day, hv replaced battery & alternator. The problem is not solved? They say modules hv to b replaced, cost-$1K + labour. Hv disconnected the central locking & one of the power window not functioning now? Hv drained out $$1.5k as of now.

Not much anyone here can do to fix the issue. The only way to find electrical drains, is to attach a meter to the battery and then follow
the draw with an inductive prove / short finder.

Some modules stay "awake" for 10min or more, so an initial high draw reading might not be valid until 10-20min have past.

If whoever looked at it already is familiar with VWs, then I'm sure that they are on the right track and it is best to continue to deal
with them, rather than try to start from the beginning again with a different shop (or our suggestions).

Should have said: inductive PROBE. Not prove.
