Okay so I am a michigan resident and I am looking into buying a truck from Canada because our dollar is up so high compared to theirs. The instrument cluster on it has the main reading for the speedometer in kph and the tachometer in km. I've looked up where I can order a new cluster is mph and Miles where they will program the mileage, hours, etc for me. Will I have to program the new cluster to the truck or will it just plug in and work?

Contact your Toyota dealer and ask it this model can support display re program, not sure if they can, we can do Fords going back a few years in the model range, their master Toyota scanner system may be able to do it with out replacing the cluster, that is if it is digital read out.
