I have a 2008 toyota 4 runner. I was out driving it today and my VSC light started to flash and my check engine light came on. Can you tell me what the problem could be and is it safe to drive

Sheila:
The computer has picked up on a problem within the system. You need to have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Many parts stores will scan it for free (nationally recognized parts stores). Have that done to determine why the light is on. Chances are there is a bad sensor.
