I changed the fuel filter and water separator. I lost a little diesel fuel from the two. I tried to prime the system with the pump located top of the water separator but no luck. I read to remove the filter housing and fill with diesel so I tried that and pumped with the bleeder nut lose but no fuel is coming out after pumping 100s of times. On a 200r that I had before there was a nut that I would remove with a manual pump under but this model does not seem to have that only the pump on top of the water separator. Any ideas.

Ok so tried this and it worked. I was guessing but had success. Went to auto zone purchased a basic hand pump that came with a couple hoses and lucked out they fit perfect over the bleeder nut n the fuel filter. Pumped until diesel fuel started coming out of the pump line. At that point I tried the pump on the water separator and it also was pumping out fuel. Tightened the bleeder nut and the truck started right up. I hope this helps anyone else that runs into this issue.
