AC freezes

I have a 08 honda accord that the ac freezes up and it seems that the ac also runs with the heat on cause the ac lines freezes with the heat on and no air blows out when it freezes. What could be wrong

It's supposed to run when the defrost is on so it can remove moisture from the air. There should be a thermostat probe in the evaporator that is designed to prevent that. It may be faulty.

That doesn't mean anything. The Compressor runs with defrost to remove moisture and it's located before the heater core so it never see heat.

I replaced that part and it still does the same thing. I noticed the compressor don't seem to be kicking on and off. Have also put a new recycling switch in.
