I have an 08 Ford Focus SE with 63000 miles. Recently my car started doing something odd. When you start it and begin to drive, it shifts hard and sometimes the transmission light will come on, (sometimes not) but my low fuel light will come on and I will lose my spedometer and all of my digital gages (odometer, fuel economy etc). When this is going on, it wont shift out of first or second gear (not sure which), but after a few minutes, the transmission will shift hard again and everything goes back to normal. Also I can tell when it is going to happen because my automatic locking doors dont lock when I take off. It only happens when you turn it on after it has been parked. Any Ideas?
