The stereo system stopped working

The stereo system stopped working. All the lights light up and says ford escape and tells temperature and direction of travel but will not turn on the radio or cd player or the aux for mp3 player. I have checked all fuses and none of them are blown. Would like to know what to check now to repair the problem.

You visit the dealer and get out your wallet. Ford decided to stop allowing us to buy radio service manuals after the '97 model year because they want all that repair business for their grossly over-priced repair centers. GM did that to their customers after '94. Doesn't help the car owner but it sure increases profits.
