Hello sir, dodge charger 2008 hemi, 20000 miles.
problem: transmission and engine dont seem to run at the same time(after first gear, it seems that the transmission gets disengaged from engine feel it and hear it.
Symptoms: when car goes up in speed slowly, after first gear, then will slightley vibrate underneath the brake padel into the steering wheel, and while pressing the gas paddel slowly, there is a slight gap were the the transmission is not responding with engine unless I press harder on gas, then picks up. Same exact symptoms, when car comes to a stop slowly, will vibrate and into steering wheel, some times it feels as if im going over ruts on road. These symptoms happen at all gears after the first.
NOTES: transmission it self runs perfectly smooth and firm at all gears, shifts on time.
Repairs: dealer suspected torque converter not functioning, they replaced that, problem still exist. Second step the replaced what they call transmission body valve, and problem still exist. And updated software.
i really need your advice please on what could it be.
NOTES:Cause to Problem: I think this problem occured shortly after I put in taller tires on rear, larger diameter than original by 1" so when I put back originals back on, car responds better, but did not cure problem completely.
please help, dont have warranty. Thanks

Do you have a check engine light on or has flashed if so scan the computer for code/s

Sounds like you need to bring that tranny back to the dealership for extensive diagnostics or to a transmission specialty shop. Hard to troubleshoot the problem over the net w/o the vehicle-sorry

Yea no codes what so ever, I still think its torque converter related were maybe clutch not activating, what other reasons could cause converter no working properly?

Try unplugging the torque converter clutch solenoid and see what happens
