Where is the cabin filter located in my van? The manual says it is behind the glove box but it is not.

It is behind the glove box. You need to remove the glove box to get to the cover to get at it. Some vans do not have one though.

Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for and a diagram below to see what it will be like on your car.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

No I have a SE model. I dropped the glove compartment cover and I see the motor a vent with an outer swiss cheese looking housing but nothing that hold a filter. Does the SE have a filter in a different location?

The filter is behind a rectangular plate after you remove the glove box assembly as shown in the diagram in previous reply. If there is none, it means it is not equipped or has been removed.
