Recently purchased 08' Grand Caravan 4.0L. The power sliding doors have trouble closing, noticed the snake track was off and some wires were severed. I twisted them back and used some electrical tape. Is this covered under a warranty? Anyone else have issues?

It should be vovered under warranty if you are under the limit. Twisting them back together and taping is not a good way to fix. The wiring will have to be replaced. You see every time it flexes the wire will get weaker even if you repair it at the break point. Usually replace the wiring 6 inches past the break but in your case I would see if the dealer will take care of it. If it has happened to you then it has happened to others for sure
