My car has been diagnosed as a oil pressure sensor. Car is leaking oil on the exhaust system causing smoke and a bad smell. Need to verify the cost of repair.

Hello,

It looks like it is down low on the engine block here is a guide to show you the location.

Check out the diagrams (Below) both engines

The sender should cost about $35.00 and labor should be about $60.00

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

I have an oil leak and have traced it down to my oil sending unit. But I am unsure what is the easiest and best way to get to it?

You can try going through the front part of the engine, there may be a shield that can come off by tire to reach it better. Otherwise you will have to try the bottom. It may take a special socket as well.
