Just took my car to a discount auto part and had it check for a code since my engine light came on about 2 weeks ago ! So I did my research and found out that it was a short runner valve performance, I am about to take it to the dealer but I just don't want them to overcharge me for all this can you guys help with some info? Please thank you

I can give you possible causes.
Asd relay output circuit open or high resistance.
Svr control circuit shorted to ground.
Svr control circuit open or high resistance.
Short runner valve assembly
pcm problem
