Quit running on idle

My car has a check engine light with no codes. When driving it runs completely smooth but when idling it shuts off. I am hoping it is not the fuel system because it is all inside the tank.

If your actual check engine light is on with the engine running then there are codes in the computer somewhere. Have it scanned with a professional scan tool not a diyer scan tool and let me know the exact code numbers not code descriptions? Also, is this the Hybrid Vue?

It was scanned at two different locations with pro tools. It is not a Hybrid.

Anytime the check engine light comes on while the engine is running there is codes in the computer. I have never seen the check engine light come on those without there being a code in one of the computers. So what did they say about it not idling? That is not a common thing to happen on those vehicles. The first thing I would do is do a full scan of all the computers. Did they look in the live data of the computer to see if the computer says the check engine light is on?
