From bout 2/3 months after I bought car it has 'shuddered' when accelerating whit engine warning lamp flashing and wen slow down and accelerate up again very quickly. Garage where purchased car nothing has shown on diagnostic and has changed fuel filter (ref vw dealer) and seemed to be fine after one week started same again. Ran diagnostic showed 1st cylinder pack misfire and changed the 1st cylinder coil pack and was having more power etc back 2 normal for bout 6 weeks den started again. Nothing showing on diagnostic twice den showed oil pressure switch! Great site :-)

Since vehicle is still under warranty, you should get back to the people responsible.

After each repair, the problem was resolved and comes back after some time, they could be different problems and if diagnostics do not come up with anything, the best thing is to plug in a scan tool and go for a test drive to get the problem to occur. You would then be able to capture the freeze frame data and note which componrent or circuit is faulty.

As the problem is intermittent, it could be due to a loose or contaminated wire connector somewhere and you need to find the circuit that is causing the problem to proceed with rectification.
