2007 Vauxhall Tigra drivers side window

The drivers side window on tigra came down when I opened my car door as it should, but when I closed the door the window didn't go back up as usual, I tried the switch but nothing happened, how can I solve this

Check your fuse first. If its blown then the motor pulled to many amps. If the fuse is good or you replace it, pull up on the window to assist it up just til you can figure whats wrong with it. If it doesn't go up at all, watch the interior lights while you operate the switch. They should dim slightly if the switch is powering the window. So if they don't dim, chances are that the switch is bad or theres wire damage. This usually happens where the wires go into the door at the bend, that is if your switches are on the door.
