I have an astra 1.9 cdti sri (120), I have the car/spanner light showing on my dash and I have problems starting the car. It sometimes takes up to 9 attempts and a set of jump leads to start due to the battery dying. The code machine says its a camshaft sensor fault. Ive replaced the sensor and cleared the fault, however the light reappeared showing the same fault and the car still has problem starting. What do you adivse?

Codes never identify bad parts just failed systems. You need this system checked out to find out why the light was on. Stop clearing the light as it does nothing. The tech will need to see the code and freeze frame data at the time of the event
