Diagnostic fault codes never say to replace parts or that they're bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis, or the unacceptable operating condition. When a part is referenced in a fault code, usually a sensor, that part is actually the cause of that code about half of the time. First you have to check wiring, connector terminals, and mechanical problems related to that circuit.
There's no Prado listed in the online service manuals I have access to so I can only look at a photo of the sensor, if you list the right engine. My reference web sites don't list a 4.0L engine.
