I have the car listed above. It was leaking coolant down by water pump. So I put a new one on and put a thermostat too and I filled it with coolant. It took a while before it sucked down any coolant. Cold air from heater and it would not get hot until you run it up the rpm's. And now it wont suck any coolant at all all it does is get hot and no heat.

Hello,

This sounds like you could have an air pocket in your vehicle's cooling system that is not letting the coolant flow. When you refill your vehicle's cooling system, it has to be done at the highest point of the cooling system so that the coolant, which is liquid, will fill the cooling system from the bottom up, pushing all the trapped air out. If not you wind up with an air pocket that prevents the coolant from circulating. In the diagrams down below I have included the correct procedure for draining and filling your vehicle from the manufacturer. Please go through these guides and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
