SAAB speedometer

I MOST SAY WE HERE IN THE UNITED STATES DONT HAVE THE 1.8 TURBOS ALL WE HAVE IS THE 2.0 TURBOS, BUT NOTE THE GAUGES WORKS JUST THE SAME HERE IT IS JUST A MATTER OF PROGRAMMING, WHAT I WOULD DO IS TO CHECK IF ANY OF THE 1.8'S COMES WITH A TURBO GAUGE & IF THEY DO THEN I BET THAT IF U PUT ONE IN YOUR CAR IT SHOULD WORK AFTER IT IS PROGRAMMED TO THE VEHICLE, GOOD LUCK.

Thank you very much for your help! I spoke with a saab engineer and he told me that because I ll buy an used speedometer before it was taken out from the old car it should be unprogramed and then program it to my car or else it wont work. Is this true?Thanks again

Yes on saab when fitting any used electrical components u have to make sure the item was removed via a tech2 process then re-added with tech2 to your vehicle, and all that is just for security reasons.
