Having a reading of p0183 fuel temperature sensor. Where is it located and how do you fix it

It is built into the fuel pump sender unit, in the fuel tank. Has this set a code with or with out a check light?

I believe that you will require a new sender, I have see this code come up but nobody bothers about it, I should not be setting a check light.
