Can you tell me what the procedure to remove the rear left wheel speed sensor? I can see is mounted to the rear axle at the hub and I have removed the single bolt holding it in but is does not freely come out. Is it under pressure? Also I followed the wiring up and it looks like it goes into the wheel well. Thank You for any help you might have.

It sounds like you did everything you need to remove it but it's rusted in. If it's defective, you might be able to drill through it, then remove it in pieces.

The funny thing is that it will turn but I cannot pull it out. Kind of like its locked in place.

Probably a ring of rust on the end of it. If you're sure it's bad, drill through it, then pull the pieces out.

Also, there's a rubber o-ring right under the mounting ear. Try prying up gently with a screwdriver while you rotate the sensor. Spray it lightly with a lubricant to help free it up
