We changed a clutch assembly cause the gear didn't want to go into reverse. After changing the clutch assembly, it got worse. Is there an linkage adjustment somewhere?

Changed clutch assembly. Now the clutch won't go into reverse at all or have a hard time getting it in reverse.

A clutch issue is going to effect all the gears as far as being hard to get into gear. Not just reverse so you have a linkage issue or something inside the transmission issue.

I was misinformed. The car was hard to get into reverse but clutch slipping bad so with some effort we could get it in reverse. Replaced clutch, reverse became very hard and other gears works great.

These had a nasty habit of wearing the clutch fork pivot and causing a lose of clutch throw, to check this quickly, make up a slightly longer slave push rod by about 3-5 mm would be ample, if this fixes the problem the pivot is worn, if you leave the extended rod in, you will crack the clutch fork at the pivot point.
