When I am stopped or in motion, my car will sound as if it is going to shut of and the RPMs drop and I feel a slight jerk of the car. I occures several times and then resumes to its normal RPMs. It doesnt seem to effect excelleration.

Check the coolant level. It effects the idling.

Could be a dirty throttle body, idle air control or vacuum leaks.

Is the check engine light on? Are there codes stored in the computer. It might be a miss fire on one cylinder. I would think a spark plug. You might want to pull all the plugs and check them for a carbon track. This would be a quick first thing that you could check.
