I have a dodge ram and the speedometer does not work, but odometer does, been told it was the speed sensor on the rear differential, so I replaced that but the problem is still there, no engine colds related to this problem that come on and the transmission shifts okay, no problems there at all, lights that are on are the abs and break light, thinking maybe it could be the speed sensor on the tranny itself, I haven't replaced this as of yet, cuz don't no if that is the problem, due to the fact I have no shifting problems. Thanks

Sorry, I didn't see a ramcharger in our database or 5.6L engine? Is this vehicle sold in the US? The info I looked at was for pickup r2500, 5.9L.

For that vehicle there an instrument cluster self test. Either use a scanner or, press the trip/reset button at the same time you turn the key to on. The speedometer should calibrate from 0--20--60--90 mph. If it doesn't my info says to replace instrument cluster.

There are no abs codes or communication codes? I hate to see you replace anything then it turns out to be something else.
