I have a grand caravan sxt 07. When turning at low speeds-ex. Out of driveway or slightly sharp turn after stop sign- a grinding/creaking noise comes from the front right of car. Any ideas what this is? CV Axle?

Hello,

It does sound like faulty CV axle.
Do a visual inspection of the CV shaft. Check the boots for leaks. If it is leaking you will have grease all over suspension components.
When a CV boot leaks it allow dirt and debris inside and that will cause it to make the clicking noise when turning.
Replacing the CV axle can be done in just a few hours depending on your comfort level.
You will need basic hand tools as well as a torque wrench to complete the job.
You will have to raise the vehicle and secure it on jack stands and take off the wheel to get starter.

Here is a helpful article:

I have included the complete replacement procedure for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
