2007 Chevy Tahoe 2WD

My tahoe was making a winding noise when moving that seemed like it was coming from the middle to back of the car. This morning on the way to church it******* and then went back into gear for a second then sliiped out and would not go back in. Any ideas?

Well, what you report here seems very generalized, could you give some more information, transmission fluid level or leakage, some incident from the past. Maybe something that you dont think has anything to do with the problem. Otherwise, we are just as stumped as you seem to be.
