2007 Chevrolet Impala Freon

When I plug the freon can to the port it reads in between 150-200 psi which is in the red , my ac blows hot so figured I need to charge it , but what does this mean if its in the red

Most likely the orifice tube or one of the multiple filters is plugged. If any refrigerant can get through the blockage, that is where it is going to be getting cold and frost will be forming on a hose.
