2007 Chevrolet Cobalt gas mileage

2007 colbalt 2.2 ecotech getting bad gas mileage what could be the problem was getting 30 plus highway and 25 city now getting about 22 highway and 18 19 city any help would be appreciated did not try anything yet except change oil and filter but that is about it. Don't know if maybe it is a filter issue or what

Hi:
The most common cause of reduced fuel mileage is a plugged fuel filter or the need for a tune up.

I'm sorry, I said a plugged fuel filter. I meant to say a plugged air filter.

Thank god I reread these after sending. Lol
