I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt and I ran up over a curb and think I may have bent one or both the front drive axels. I jacked the front end up, started the car, put it in drive and noticed that both wheels have a whobble. The front end has a mojor vibration when driving down the raod too. I was wondering how diffacult it is to change the front drive axles. Do I need any special tools or is this something I can do myself in my garage at home.
Thanks
Jerry

Replacing the axles is a big job and chances are the axles were never touched. They sit high enough that other thing would hit before them. Have you checked to see if it is just the wheels that were bent?
