Carfax accident report

A carfax report shows that a 2007 BMW I'm interested in has been in an accident (Right front bumper). Airbags did not deploy. Should I expect major damages when I have my mechanic check it out, or because the airbags did not deploy would you assume that the damages are minor?

If the repairs were done to BMW standards and there was no airbag deployment, you could still be looking at a good possibility. And just as a side note, never assume anything my friend, never. Have your mechanic check it out and ask BMW if there is a note in the DCS regarding the car. (Dealer Communication System)
