How do I reset my dpf light on my 120d BMW

I have been advised this light has probably come on as I only take short trips in my car, therefore I have driven it on 2000 rpm up the motorway, (advised by someone who has also had this problem!) Now I need to know how to reset the warning light before I pay out lots of money to my local BMW garage for them to test it in their machine!

Hey NATA,

There is a special BMW only reset tool that must be used to do this. Sorry.

Anyone with a BMW scan tool can do this for you, But it might work if you try this video.
