NOISE COMING OUT IN THE ENGINE

The noise coming out in the engine is more like a high pitch note. When I remove the dip stick in front of the engine. The one you use to check the level of you engine oil that sound automatically cancels out, But if you put it back the noise comes back again. What seems to be the problem?
Hope you can help.

The end of the dipstick may be hitting the crankshaft.

Either that or there may be pressure or vacuum at the tube, which is not good.

What would be the best way to repair it?

Dont know whats wrong with it yet. You are our eyes and ears.

Help us out and let us know what it sounds like with my suggestions. Is it a hissing sound? Is it pressure? Or is it the stick hitting the crank?

It sounds like a metal to metal contact.

Forgot to mention you can get the new PCV part from VW & install it yourself.
