My center console light has stopped working - would that be a fuse? I have auto transmission.

The letters that stand for Park - P, Reverse - R, don't light up anymore.

Could be a fuse, a bulb, or wiring. Loosen and remove the console and check the ground connection first.

How do I loosen and remove the console? Just it just lift off or are there any screws I have to loosen? Thank you so much! Trying to save myself some money by doing this myself! I am clueless!

Our reference doesn't show that exact procedure. There may be pins, clips, or screws securing the console to the floor pan. After that, it should lift right off, after you remove the shifter handle.
