The drivers side sliding door is an automatic.

The drivers side sliding door is an automatic door. I will open but doesn't what to close. I will start to close but then start to chime and open right back up. How do I disconnect the automatic door or how to fix the door so it closes?

The module for that door is located in the rear of the van, behind the palstic side panel which houses your auxillary charge port. Unplug that module and then you can manually open and close the door.
GM has had a LOT of problems with those doors/modules, so there is a good change that a recall exists for your car. Check with your local dealer. I'll check online as well.
