2006 Pontiac Torrent M Trying Find Manufacturers Data Plate On Vehicle Locate

I'm trying to find the manufacturers data plate on my vehicle and can not locate it. And GM customer service doesn't have a clue what I am talking about. Does this car have one or did the VIN replace it. If it does, where is it? Thank you

You should be able to see VIN through windshield from outside, driver side.
