Shimmering car

We have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. It has been shimmering some, but we added some oil to the engine, and it shimmers more than ever. It has been really cold from zero and below and back to about 40 degrees. What do you think is causing this?

The shimmer could be a vacuum hose undone, a motor mount thats loose or worn. If there is a check engine light then have it scanned, that will give you a better look into the situation, but you could have a blown head gasket too, or a broken piston.
