AC and thermostat reader

I have an 06 g6 and this week the ac stopped working along with the thermostat gauge in the car. Is this electrical wiring or there a fuse that controls both? Please let me know because no ac in the summer stinks.

So your temp gauge is inop and reads dead cold all the time?Also does your ac clutch on the ac compressor atleast kick on when turning on the ac?
