There is a knocking noise in the front right side of my car when I let my foot off the accelerator. The tires are fairly new and ive had a mechanic ride around with me and he told me that it could possibly be a wheel bearing. However the sound isnt too apparent when I turn so I figure it could be other possibilities but im just not sure. The noise is in tandem with the movement of the car (low/slow when going at low speeds. High/fast when going at higher speeds) and it kindve dissapears when I hit the accelerator. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Try driving in a circle lh if you think noise is on right side and vice versa. If noise picks up then it's a wheel bearing or maybe an axle cause they have to spin faster

I've tried that and the noise is pretty much non exsistent on the turn (both left and right) until I let off the gas

Then check the bearingson whatever side you hear it. Hard for us to diagnose here.
