Compressor want engage

How do I know when the ac pressure cycling switch is bad (not working) any more I put a new a/c clutch relay fuse in and compressor still want click on but when I take the relay fuse out and bridge slot 30 & 87 the compressor comes on can somebody help me

I wouldn't jump the compressor like that dangerous. Have you checked the high and low ac pressures?You could be low on charge causing the ac compressor to stay off.

With a ac gauge set it sounds like your pretty green when it comes to ac on cars. Iam not saying that to be mean just concern that you may hurt yourself there is gas under high pressure that could hurt you if you wernt careful or just didnt know. The high low switch also shuts the compressor down because of too high of pressure so jumping to by pass that could hurt or kill you.
