Hi / got in my car was very cold / car, engine was cranking but didn, t start, so got it towed, mecanic told me me it, s flooded drain the oil replaced the plugs. Still didnt start. Took compression 1/2/3 has no compression and 4 has 150psi , he tells me timing chain jumped. How could that be, now he, s trying to sell me an engine. What could it be

Recheck the compression.
Squirt some engine oil into the cylinders via the spark plug holes and unplug the fuel pump relay.
Crank the engine for a few seconds without the spark plugs and and recheck the compression. Floodng of cylinders can result in no compression.
Test for sparks.
