2006 Mazda 6 clicking noise

What is causing a clicking noise from my left front tire when I turn left?
Sounds like a loud "baseball card in a spoke" of a bike. Sometimes pronounced, sometimes almost not there.
Howexpensive might this fix be?

Sounds like a bad cv joint, you will need a new cv joint, but the best thign to do is get a new cv axle shaft, costs about the same as a new joint but will cut installation time in half.

Cost no more then 200 in the end to get the problem solved.

I was curious if this fixed your problem because I am having the same problem and have already fixed the cv and am still experiencing the same problem.
