My battery died and I put in a new one. Now, the radio, the dome light, the reading lights, the dashboard clock and the remote locks aren't working. Also, the right turn signal flashes in an irregular pattern. The last symptom is very strange. With the headlights on, the left turn signal flashes as if there is a loose connection (all the time) but with the headlights off and I turn on the left signal, it flashes like it's supposed to but my entire dashboard lighting flashes in time with the turn signal. I suspect there is a computer module issue but I have no idea. Any help would be appreciated.

I should have noted that I had to jump start the car and did it by attaching directly to the battery cables. I read on another site about a fusible link by the starter that can get fried if you do that.

I would tend to agree with what youre saying about a module. Most likely an antitheft function due to the loss of battery power and then having it again. Call kia first and ask about it and dnt be afraid to call more than one if you don't feel comfortable with the first answer. If you weren't having these problems before then something changed when the battery was installed
