We dont' do medium duty trucks. But try turning key on and hitting gas pedal three times fully to floor then if light blinks turn key off then start truck light might go out. Also check on dash for information center you maybe able to reset there. Just a tip stay away from the oil change places. They screw up more vehicles than fix.

I did try that method and it didn't work. My crew and I were working on that international truck and tried every trick in the book to try and get the man't oil light to reset and it didn't work. Just a response to your tip. I am employed by a oil change place, Jiffy Lube, and am a Service Supervisor there. I'd like to say we do not screw up more that we fix. We fix a lot of the times are other mess ups from the dealerships and other maint shops around the area. Besides my shop is ranked #1 in the state of Alaska and #2 in our district which includes Alaska, Washington State, California, and Oregon. So enough with the bragging. Any other tips. The only other idea would be to disconnect the battery terminal for ten minutes and reconnecting them to see if the man't oil light will shut off but that is an old method to just shut off the check engine light.

Disconnecting the battery won't do it best bet is to go online and type in truck oil maint light see if anyone has it. ARound here oil change places do not do like you guys keep up the good work. And I've heard other horror stories where they shouldn't have touched but did. Oh well. Keep up the good work to keep your rating up.

Here I was screwing around on the net if you haven't found out how yet and this an answer they gave not sure it will work though.
Many Vehicles before OBDII need to be reset with the manufacturers computer/scanner or by shorting terminal jumper locations.
If this vehicle is newer then turn on the ignition to the position before start and press the gas pedal. If dash lights start blinking then press the brake one, two or three times then turn the key back to off and turn back to the position before start. The light should be out. This won't work if you start the vehicle. Sometimes the code is different, exp. Turn on ignition gas, brake, brake, gas. You have to find it
