My check engine light came on and my car just started running hot, smoking and lost power. I checked the oil and the oil was good. I checked the antifreeze and it was good. I checked the water and it was clear but low. I put water in it, then when I cranked it back up all the water sucked out of it. I put more water in the car then looked under the car and seen what looked like water coming out the bottom of the radiator but I'm not totally sure. There could be a whole or crack in the radiator but like I said I'm not totally sure on this. From what I have described to you, what is your professional opinion as to what the actual problem could be, and why are these mishaps occurring? Also what can I do to fix the problems and keep this from occurring again?

The codes most likely will be related to overheating of some sort. Any parts store will scan your vehicle for free. If you can get me those codes, it would help a lot. In the meantime, I would perform a coolant pressure test and look around to see if you see any leaks. If the pressure drops a significant amount after about a minute, you have a problem somewhere. When you say you checked the antifreeze and then you checked the water, what exactly are you looking at? There should never be too much water in the cooling system because water has a faster boiling point than antifreeze. I always recommend a 50/50 blend that way you know you're using the right amount.
