The thermostat has just been replaced, but there is no heat in vehicle. anti freeze was topped off, still no heat. There are no obvious leaks, but reservoir is close to empty. Oil is clean and exhaust is clear. What could be the cause for lack of heat?

Okay, it could be one of two things... a plugged heater core or a stuck blend air door. Check to see if both heater core hoses get hot when the engine is warm and the heater is on. If they do, check the blend air door. If only one is hot, try flushing the heater core to clean it.
