checking rear brake shoes

At what point of wear are the rear brake shoes supposed to be replaced? I can't find information on a minimum shoe brake thickness. Can you help? Thanks

Hi,

Replacing rear brake shoes and drums is a little more involved than disc brake service. However, if you take your time, you shouldn't have any trouble doing it.
