Im having trouble finding out what the piece is called that my fender bolts on to. I was recently in a wreck where I rear ended someone and my passenger side fender was smashed in, I was able to take it off but now I dont know how you would replace the metal part that is bent bc it doesnt unbolt.

You have to be sure it's aligned correctly, otherwise all the rest of the things that attach to it won't fit. You might be referring to the inner fender, To get a used part from a salvage yard, you'd have to buy a whole section of the body, the instructions for replacing the fender and inner liner are below. Check out the diagrams (Below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Hello, I am Danny.

Just a quick question first before we get started. Is the door hinge sagging/broke/loose or are you dealing with the hood hinge? Your post states your also talking about the fender. Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny, it is the bolt where the door jam is. Yes, I am talking about the fender removal/installation. Just wondering if I need to take the door off.

Hello again.

No, the door does not have to come off. Having the door open will give you some room but it will be a tight fit getting your hand in there. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed. Thanks for using 2CarPros!

Hi dread09,

You would need to remove the front bumper to gain access to some of the bolts benihd it. Removing the fender liner clips and holding bolts would allow you to take the bumper out.
